POTENTIAL IMPACT OF MARJORAM ON CORAGEN-INDUCED PHYSIOLOGICAL AND HISTOLOGICAL ALTERATIONS IN MALE ALBINO RATS

Insect control has been accomplished by insecticides many years ago. Such can be useful in dealing with insects our environment; but when they are used wrongly, have hazards to the environment too. The current study continues evaluate potential alleviative effects of marjoram (Origanum majorana L.) on coragen-induced alterations hematological and hormonal parameters, as well renal testicular structure, male albino rats. Thirty adult rats (Sprague-Dawely) were randomly separated into 3 groups (n=10). first group received orally 1.0 mL distilled water only; second was treated a sublethal dose coragen suspension (2 g/kg body weight water); third one water) (5 together, three times week for 30 days. results revealed that alleviated significantly (P<0.05) microcytic anemia, leukocytosis, thrombocythemia, hyperuricemia, kidney dysfunction, plasma hormones (sex thyroid hormones, aldosterone levels), histological changes kidneys testes In conclusion, showed notable effect against toxicity
